Billie Bonka and the Yogurt Factory

My Mom told me that a friend of hers, Lorraine, is starting her own yogurt company, and she wants my Mom to work for her. She wants her to do all of the financial stuff. This could be major. Evidently, this company is being taken very seriously. Lorraine has put about $25,000 into the company so far, and has attracted enough investors to turn that into $100,000. She has already purchased the building, which I think is on Cypress Street. Next, she will be purchasing the machines to make everything. There was a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the opening of Lorraine's company. Mayor Pam Iorio and Mary Alvarez was there. They are scary. I'm glad Lorraine is the one in the middle. She is the only normal looking one in that picture (at least I'm assuming that's her). Anyway, what sucks is things probably won't be great in the beginning. My Mom might even be working for nothing at first. That's when I told her that I hope this Lorraine person keeps her in mind when things take off. I hope she will recognize my Mom as someone who really helped her, and was there from the very beginning. I also hope that my Mom can save up some money to invest in this company because I really think it's going to take off. I'm not saying it's going to be the next Kellogg's or anything like that, but you don't have to be that big to make a lot of money. If the company takes off, then the shares that my Mom will hopefully be able to afford one day will multiply big time. Even my brother wants to invest in the company. The good thing is Lorraine is offering shares for only $10,000 right now. Her attorney advised her not to take anything less than $100,000, but she refused because she wanted her friends to afford to be a part of it. I thought that was nice. The price could go up after the money starts coming in, though. 10 grand is a steal. Shit, I would invest in it, if I had the money now. By the way, I tried some of the yogurt last night, and it's fucking awesome!

That's it. I'm going to get ready for bed, and try to fall asleep.
